If the relative temporal autonomy of a system is secured by one or another combination of distancing mechanisms, then a system can use the temporal dimension to better solve the problems of its own complexity (as distinct from problems in connection -- 47 -with its environment) and, above all, to increase its own complexity through the use of time. We will call this the temporalization of complexity . 96 The system adapts to the irreversibility of time by temporalizing its own complexity. By decreasing the temporal duration of its own elements or even reducing them to evanescent events, the system can join in the irreversibility of time.
